no more domino magazine online?

Please say it ain't so. When I went to check Domino's site this morning for home ideas, this is what I saw. It seems that Domino's old website is now the home of Architectural Digest. Do you know what this means? No more My Deco Files. They have all been deleted, as well as all of the amazing galleries.

Please excuse my while I go cry.

  3. I know!! it make me so seriously sad, i feel so bad being so sad over a website and magazine, but every month every issue, every website visit was like a vacation for my brain!! This is a travesty. I hope it will come back to life.

  4. I am devestated that this magazine went under! It perfectly fit my style and I loved how well they referenced where and how to use the ideas and objects they wrote about.

  6. I know. It occurred yesterday, because I copied their etsy fabric gallery onto my flickr/blog the day before. Sad. They should have sold a cd of their galleries before they just pushed delete.

  7. As soon as I learned that Domino was shutting down shop panic set in...then I went on the lookout for another solution to My Deco Files. I found one that seems to be working really good for me www.imgfav.com. It certainly doesn't have all the bells and whistles that My Deco did but it works for now. I was even able to grab all of my images from my Domino gallery before it went away. Hope this helps to ease some of the pain.

  9. Seriously, did they really have to take it down? Couldn't they have just left it up for us to always refer back too?

  13. I have my last issue of Domino on my coffeetable, and I haven't opened it yet. I've been a subscriber since the first issue and I just can't seem to finish it.
