Happy weekend everyone! I shall leave you with some beautiful brightly-colored interiors. Cheerful colors in homes rarely fail to excite me.

the best of london fashion week.
After New York passing in a flash, London Fashion Week has now come and gone. What did I think of the collections? There were some disappointments and questionable choices (in my opinion); however, I did love the brighter colors, shiny fabrics, and mixtures of tough and girly. I am curious to see what Milan's week will have to offer.
Continuing the series, here are my favorites from London Fashion Week...

interior inspiration : the ranch home.
My mom has recently decided to redecorate/remodel her California ranch home to reflect the house's era and classic style. Since she knows I spend large amounts of time browsing through interiors, she asked if I could find her some reference photographs. As much as I am more of a Victorian and Craftsman-style home lover, one cannot argue that the classic ranch home is one of the best representations of great mid-century modern design.

complete eye candy.
I know this music video has been posted on quite a few blogs by now, but I highly urge you to watch it if you haven't seen it yet. The video is by Oren Lavie, entitled "Her Morning Elegance," and it was all done in stop motion. It's easily one of the best and most creative music videos I have ever seen. Enjoy!
