freebie of the day : iphone wallpapers.

The paper pony is one my favorite online reads, so I am happy to share today's freebie: iPhone wallpapers created (and photographed) by the lady behind the paper pony, the lovely Raya Carlisle. And if you do not have an iPhone (like me), I realized that these still look good as a background for your regular cell phone.

ban.do.

Such wonderful news: One of my biggest online inspirations, stylist/photographer Jen Gotch of here and here, just opened a brand new shop called ban.do. The shop features vintage-inspired handmade accessories created by Jen and her friend Jamie that are just too beautiful for words. (Psst... even Zooey bought one!)
thought of the day : just tell me.

my favorite collection of all the fashion weeks so far...

I don't really ever post on Sundays, but I just saw this and had to share it: Luisa Beccaria's Fall 2009 Collection. It premiered yesterday in Milan and the show was held at the Villa Necchi Campiglio, a newly restored onetime private Milanese residence built in the early thirties. This is the kind of stuff that really makes me happy: book-lined shelves, beautiful up-dos, and period-inspired, extremely romantic clothing. Very few designers seem to completely go this direction anymore. I love it. (Images from Style.com)
