I truly believe that there are few things better than a well-designed Scandinavian home (and let me tell you, there are a whole lot of them.) Somehow in that part of the world, good design instincts must just run in the blood. Really, they know what they're doing.

Oh, I am loving these luxe covered matchboxes by my friend Cori Kindred. She uses found and vintage papers to reconstruct the boxes so they are sturdy enough to reuse, which means that they would be excellent to fill with little treasures. They are available for purchase here ($12).
