interior inspiration : sparse spaces.
With the new year comes new lists of resolutions. Frequently, this includes getting rid of excess clutter and unnecessary belongings. Even though I am quite sure I will never live in a minimalist home (I am too much of a collector), I still find inspiration and beauty in the look of uncluttered spaces. How about you? Do you prefer modern, rather empty homes, or would you rather see a place filled with large numbers of belongings?

Minimalist is so intimidatingly inspiring at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteGot to be minimalist for me! I can't think whilst surrounded by clutter.
ReplyDeleteIn my dreams I live in a place like this, but the reality is a lot smaller and a bit more cluttered.
ReplyDeleteI could easily live in these spaces. Maybe I'm a minimalist because i hate to dust!!!
ReplyDeletei am definitely inspired...a minimalist at heart!
ReplyDeleteI like empty, but not cold. The pieces should be very personal and unique and handpicked and lots of texture and patina should warm up the place. These images are perfectly inspiriting!
ReplyDeleteI used to think, who lives like that?! And then I met someone who does. It takes a great deal of strength & discipline in my opinion. For myself, I prefer a happy medium.
ReplyDeleteVery very lovely!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the look of nice clean simple spaces but have a penchant for dust collectors. I too have contemplated the same resolution but i am failing miserably.
Happy medium for me. Though a well-curated clutter is always beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered how people can maintain a space like this. But then, I have 4 children and a husband and three cats. and I like my collections of cameras and too many blankets. and shoes. : )
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is declutter day in our home. ALL of these inspire me. Thank you for collecting them!
