I know I have done collections similar to this one (signage, large letters, etc.), but I can't seem to ever get enough of lettering/type in interior design...
Sources (from top to bottom):
Design*Sponge: Halligan Norris and Adam Smith, The Selby: Elli Rose and Gui, Ace Hotel, Design*Sponge: Linea Carta, Anna Kern, Design*Sponge: Sophie Blackall, Wendell T. Webber, Inspace Locations, Ideal Home, Tim Evan-Cook, and James Merrell.
this post really reminds me of a friend in Detroit who has a giant collection of vintage signs, posters, and marquees from all over.
ReplyDeleteI love it.
love the quilt! beautiful collection of images.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a fan of incorporating words/letters into a room - I really like the vintage signs, and I like the idea of old subway signs too.
ReplyDeleteI'm always turning to your blog for great ideas and beautiful images - keep up the good work!
I pretty much love every single one of these interiors. Especially "I love you so much" with the metallic file folder and twin owls resting on top. Also really love the "You have my heart" above the bed - really sweet to have that in your bedroom as a couple. These are great finds and really inspiring. Thanks for putting these together!

Great collection. I am a sucker for text in interiors as well. Even single letters and punctuation makes me happy. Thanks for sharing. Yes, it's lovely. :)

i've been wanting to do this forever.
I love words in decor, esp. that first image!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I've always thought about doing something with writing on a wall, especially in the bathroom. Like lines from poems and favorite novels.
ReplyDeleteI love all the words..especially over the bed. I have been trying to think of something to make for over our bed. I think that might be it!
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
