When asking a friend for an idea for a post, he responded by saying how much he loves retro design mixed with modern items, due to just how perfectly they seem to compliment each other. I fully agree with you, friend.

Love those pics - great use of colour in a number of those homes. I tend to struggle with colour but I think you just need to find the right pieces that you love and then be brave.
