interior inspiration : painted interior doors.












I am really loving this look lately. After painting our dining room light gray last week, I am now itching to paint a bit more. I am thinking a black front door and red back door. Yes?

    Oh, I just can't get over how amazing that first picture is! That incredible green against a darker-than-I-could-dare gray? Stunning. And totally inspiring!

    I love the painted door. At my mom's house we have a green door similar to the green one you posted. Only it's just green on the outside not on the inside so we don't get to appreciate the "green door". I love the look of the black door and I think it would look great as a front door in your house. Maybe even a dark gray would look even more stunning.

    Red and black sounds great, kind of a compromise of the Rolling Stones song: "I see a red door and I want it painted black"

    the pictures of the chartreuse door in the first picture and the light pink door practically has me running out the door to buy paint - but i don't think my two male roommates would appreciate a pink door, and i don't think our landlord would appreciate it either :(

    Just a tip: My mom had a car shop paint her front door black and it was fairly affordable and extremely durable. It's the perfect color, really shiny, and will last forever.
