a clever idea.

I am off for the weekend, but I just had to share this idea from the new print magazine Anthology. Wallpaper made from the pages of old books? Call me smitten.

  1. Last night I noticed Clyde Common had this same wall treatment near the back of the bar. Kind of in love with it.

  3. What a cool idea. This would be a neat wall treatment for a reading room or even take and old bookshelf and cover it in book pages.

  6. i love it. although i can't imagine taking a book into my hands and then starting to tear out the pages. perhaps a worthwhile blasphemy.

  9. Absolutely awesome. I am doing some interior design for an apartment in Prague next year, I think I might use this idea.

  11. Yes, it is lovely. I remember the Anthropologie catalog doing the same thing a few years ago. Actually, several things from this new magazine seem familiar to me in an Anthropologie catalog sort of way. I'm wondering if some of the same people were involved in the photo shoots or styling? Or perhaps they are just a fan of that aesthetic? Hmm...
