Inspired by the bathroom I posted yesterday, I spent a portion of the evening seeking out more homes using silhouettes as wall art. It's no secret that I am rather obsessed with them (enough to have one tattooed on my arm), and now I think it's time to spread the love to a special wall of my home.

My dad is a photographer, and when my three older siblings were older, back in the 1970s, he took their photos and created silhouettes of them, using a black pen to fill them in. The framed picture of the three of them still hangs on our dining room wall, and every now and again I'll have a little complain about how the me and my other two brothers never got to have ours done (my Dad just never got around to doing it!). I share your love for silhouettes, and a tattoo sounds like a fab idea!
