christine castro.

Today's illustrator spotlight: Christine Castro of Darling Design. I have known Christine for about seven years now and I must say that she is one of the most inspiring individuals I have ever known. Her artwork and words reflect so much beauty and truthfulness, the kind of work that can always bring a smile to my face. She is always running new wonderful projects like a design studio, a shop and one of the sweetest online journals ever. She's just amazing.

kap city.

I'm rather smitten with these bangles handmade by Etsy user kap city. Kristen is a graphic artist from New York City who creates these beautiful bracelets from pieces of recycled found paper. You can also check out her rather new and adorable weblog here.

rosa pomar.

Sweet ribbon and dolls by Rosa Pomar. Check out her eye-catching flickr photos for more cuteness.

lacy parasol.

I very much fancy this parasol designed by Chris Kabel (as seen at Dutch by Design). It's made of lacy green polyester with cut stencils to allow little bits of light to shine through, much like sitting beneath a tree. Lovely.

oh my cavaliar.

I found Oh My Cavaliar featured on the front page of Etsy today (You can read the interview here). I love Julianna's stunning portraits and artwork. She also has her own website where she shows all her lovely prints and embroidery pieces.

jonathan adler : new.

I'm sure the wonderful Jonathan Adler needs no introduction. His new pitchers and bowls are too dandy for words.

keri smith.

Today's illustrator spotlight : Keri Smith, an illustrator turned guerilla artist. She is the author and illustrator of many books and has worked for a huge amount of clients, such as The Washington Post, BUST Magazine, Random House, and The New York Times. And I must say, her site is marvelous, with such wonderful features as 100 ideas, a whole page of fun stuff, and an ever-inspiring blog. Oh, I have fallen in love.

the romance table.

Isn't this table beautiful? It's the romance table by designer Neringa Dervinyte, as seen at Generate.

chotto futto : glassware.

Chotto Futto really does have some of the most adorable cups and mugs I have ever seen, especially all the ones by the great Shinzi Katoh. So very, very splendid.

saelee oh.

Today's illustrator spotlight: Saelee Oh. Saelee has a sort of beautiful innocence to her work that I just adore. Sweet animals, anthropomorphic vegetables, delicate ladies... I love it all. She has done work for Budget Living, New York Magazine, Monster.com, and Bust Magazine, to name just a few.

Visit her shop here.
