thought of the day : math equation.

"BEAUTY," from Craig Damrauer's New Math project. I suggest going through them all - they are fabulous.

ten images of inspiration : polaroids.

This one is inspired by 'Roid Week 2009 going on over at Flickr. (Have I mentioned that I really, really miss being able to buy regularly priced Polaroid film?)

apparel collection : lovely linen.

I think that if I had the means to buy myself a new summertime wardrobe, everything would be made of linen. I frequently dream of being barefoot in crisp linen dresses in the warm country or the seaside.

nyc chinatown loft.

Here is yet another pretty loft to look at. I spotted this one over on automatism yesterday and fell in love with its vintage yet minimalistic look. To see all the full tour, click here.

flickr photo of the day : the little bench.

two super sweet bag designs.

Just some springtime bag love for this terribly rainy Portland day: Fairchild Garden Tote from kate spade ($345) and The Artist Totes from Anthropologie ($68).

thought of the day : what i want.

"i want you," seen in Andrey SHCH's Photostream. Lots of beautiful work there.

i've got a sweet tooth.

Pardon me, but I am a major sugar addict. This morning I woke up daydreaming about ordering delicious and beautifully packaged sweets from online. Really, how nice would it be to have boxes of chocolates or chewy confections delivered right to your door? Also, I think any of these would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift...

1. Chocolate Pie Chart ($20), 2. Vanilla Caramel Pop in Milk Chocolate ($2), 3. Classic Sampler Gift Box ($22), 4. Dylan's Candy Bar Sour Fruit Candy Take Out ($30), 5. Pursuit of Happiness ~ Petits Bonbons ~ 24-piece clear ($35), 6. A Twist Box, Old School, 8oz Box ($3.99), 7. giftbox of 12 macarons ($19), 8. Ladybug Collection ($25), 9. 9 Piece Box (Caramel) ($20.50), and 10. Coffee Chocolates (11,00€)

interior inspiration : loft living.

As much as I completely adore the charm and beauty of a big old house, I would love to live in a huge loft someday, perhaps when we're older. Have you seen this yet? My favorite loft space by far (which is also shown above.)
