interior inspiration : chalkboard paint (long overdue).
It was recently brought to my attention that with all my archives of interior inspiration posts, I somehow never did a chalkboard paint round-up. I totally missed the boat on that one, but here it is, long overdue. And might I add that it is still I trend that I am seriously smitten with.

I'm not sure I can handle the dust from the chalk, but I sure do love the look of matte black walls.ReplyDelete
Also, I love the second to last photo where the cupboards are labeled "food" and "stuff". Haha!
Just stumbled on here and yes, chalkboard paint is great! I have posted about my chalkboard paint that I have in my office and in my bathroom, ironically the one in my bathroom is a "to do" list and the office one is a little bit more random!ReplyDelete
I just bought my first can of chalkboard paint last week! I just made a chalkboard using an old window frame - totally inspired now.ReplyDelete
This is literally my dream. I would die if I had a chalk wall. Giant To-Do Lists? Drool.ReplyDelete

i could imagine there's a mad scientist who scribble all over the wall with his formula and equation XD
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the inspiration! I have a tin of blackboard paint in the shed but haven't got around to using it yet. I've been pondering doing something on our kitchen wall so we can write shopping lists - I think a weekend project has arrived :)ReplyDelete

such a great trend- hope it doesn't go anywhere.ReplyDelete
i long for a day when i can paint a whole wall in chalkboard paint!! renting hasn't allowed for that yet...but someday, i will! for now, i'm restricted to painting small items w/chalkboard paint. absolutely love all the photos :)ReplyDelete
That calendar is so clever! And the dining room is simply gorgeous.ReplyDelete
I love the look and idea of chalk board walls but I wonder about the dust? (the practical in me is popping out here!).ReplyDelete
Would be lovely to have in a studio, it is the little touches like that, that will get the creative juices flowing!
love the idea of the chalk board paint. i just put a small area at the entrance way, and love getting sweet notes from my fiance! It's our little message board, but I LOVE the idea of doing an entire room!ReplyDelete
