Anyone who knows me at all knows that I am a very deep lover of cupcakes. I spend my days making them, dreaming of the day I can open my bakery here in Portland. So, needless to say, I was in awe of this beautifully-designed little cupcake shop in Houston called Sugar Baby's. It looks absolutely gorgeous and sweet from head to toe with its bright pink walls, checkered flooring, and victorian detailing. I think if I lived nearby it I wouldn't be able to fit in my pants anymore!

not so different from the now defunct Rumplemayer's in NY. The restaurant was an insane pink explosion, known as a favorite among little girls. It had sugar delights, though not specifically cupcakes.
I've ordered two dozen this week already, YIPES! We can't get enough of them; we've used them for clients and as a treat for employees on payday.
I was visiting Houston (from Los Angeles) during a movie shoot.
My favorite cupcakes in LA is "Sprinkles". After tasting and experiencing Sugarbabies, I am no longer getting my cupcakes from Sprinkles.
We now air freight in Sugarbabies cupcakes to all of our sets in Los Angeles - the owners (Bridget is a doll) have been so accomodating to our producers. We LOVE Sugarbabies!
The cupcakes are delicious and the decor is fabulous. The mini-chocolate bundt cake is wonderful and I don't even like chocolate.
