I am inspired after spending my evening there, which, in my opinion, equals the perfect summer night (even with tonight's rain.) There is something still so classic to me about the bright lights, cotton candy and caramel apples, buttery corn-on-the-cob, and rides that have been around since I was a child. Plus, it is a photographer's delight.

Funny- I was just at the Santa Fe art walk in Denver (they open all the galleries the first Friday of the month), and I saw an exhibit that centered around fairgrounds. I told my friend that I'd noticed LOTS of Etsy artists selling carnival photos. They are beautiful, but I wonder what started this trend and why it speaks to us so much.
