After living on the beach for over ten years, I still get a yearning to have a house along the sea, at least to run off to during the hot summer months. For now though, I can just look at pretty beach homes and daydream, right?

Oh God, I know what you mean! When I lived in England I lived in a place by a very wild sea. These days I am in the South of France, but it takes an hour and a half to get to the sea. I miss the sound, smell and daily changes of the ocean so bad!
(Not that I miss much else from the UK!)
