I think one of our next home purchases is going to be a big old classic farm table like the one above. I feel like one would inspire me to throw fabulous dinner parties this summer (perhaps something like
this?) Now, let the furniture hunt begin.

Portico on Division has *amazing* tables, locally made from reclaimed wood. They're not cheap, but they are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI lovvvve that table, and the mismatched seating.
ReplyDeleteI think I have chair envy. What a great mix!
ReplyDeleteI adore this so much. I love the different chairs and comfort about a farmhouse.
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really wanted a reclaimed farm table, but alas, could not afford one right now. Almost puked when I missed out on a Craigslist ad giving away FREE(!!!) bowling alley wood. Grrr. Ended up getting the Ikea Norden table, which is great. I also currently have table-envy over the one featured on the show Food(ography) on the new Cooking Channel.
ReplyDeleteFarm tables are awesome, and this is one. Good luck with the search for the perfect one!
ReplyDeleteWhen we first moved to NY, we were looking for a table like this. We found some great ones down in Tribeca... French, worn, reclaimed industrial, $20,000.00
ReplyDeletePainful.
I love that table. I wish we had the space for something like that.
ReplyDeleteI love that table! You could make that with an old interior door and saw horses. DIY at it's best!
ReplyDeleteSundance has one like this in their outlet
