It is a mere two days until my family and I head off to Maui (I am so ready for a vacation). Today it was brought to my attention that one of the hotels we're staying at requires "resort wear," which got me thinking to what exactly that means. In my head I picture Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday and Chuck Bass in the Hamptons (yes, I admittedly watch Gossip Girl), two looks which I think could be achieved rather easily. I am probably going to stick with my nautical-inspired striped apparel and my husband will be in his usual plaid button-down shirts and shorts, but if I had the money and the time, it might just look more like the following.
