thought of the day : missing.
"I miss holding you," from Argyle Whale's Wooly Bear Print. There is something so sweet about this. ($8)
interior inspiration : vintage masculine.
My friend Abby recently mentioned wanting to emulate the masculine vintage look of Portland's Ace Hotel in her & her husband's home and asked for some inspiration, so I thought it would be fun to do a post dedicated to that style (a style that my own husband is also rather enamored with.) Dark wood, deep colors, and antique accents. I love it.
Also, if anyone else needs inspiration for a certain kind of look, please let me know. I would love to help!

freebie of the day : aerograms.
Today's freebie: A set of three different aerograms (a retro envelope/note sheet combination) from the folks at Felt and Wire. I have a feeling these are going to come in handy. (Via Emily Abigail)
illustration collection : anthropomorphism.
I am actually in the process of starting a gallery of them on one of our bathroom walls. I have always been madly in love with pictures of animals with human characteristics.
