I am off for the weekend, but I just had to share this idea from the new print magazine Anthology. Wallpaper made from the pages of old books? Call me smitten.
Yes, it is lovely. I remember the Anthropologie catalog doing the same thing a few years ago. Actually, several things from this new magazine seem familiar to me in an Anthropologie catalog sort of way. I'm wondering if some of the same people were involved in the photo shoots or styling? Or perhaps they are just a fan of that aesthetic? Hmm...
Last night I noticed Clyde Common had this same wall treatment near the back of the bar. Kind of in love with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great concept! Love it! :) Hazel
ReplyDeletethat is so awesome! i think i saw it in a lookbook and then in some random magazine. it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHey Smitten, I like it too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea. This would be a neat wall treatment for a reading room or even take and old bookshelf and cover it in book pages.
ReplyDeletei love it...and i really love that aged sea green dresser in the photo!
ReplyDeletewould love to see a dresser or something done with them too! Very cool idea!
ReplyDeletei love it. although i can't imagine taking a book into my hands and then starting to tear out the pages. perhaps a worthwhile blasphemy.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I wouldn't be able to stop starring at the walls.
ReplyDeleteI love this! It looks awesome. I also like the little touches of aqua and pink in there. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely awesome. I am doing some interior design for an apartment in Prague next year, I think I might use this idea.
ReplyDeletethis is the BESTEST!
ReplyDeletewhat a great way save money and go green.. :D
